Hey everyone, and welcome to my life coaching practice! For my first blog post, I thought I'd share a bit about what I've been up to leading to the official launch of my website and coaching practice, what to expect from this blog, and some quick shout-outs to those I love who supported me on my coaching journey.

As many of you know, I've been studying for my life coaching certification over the past few months & I am SO happy to announce that, as of March 18th, 2024, I am now a CTA Certified Life Coach! I have achieved my 60 hours of ICF-approved coach-specific education and ended my schooling with a bang by getting a 98% on my exams (subtle flex)! This journey has been incredibly eye-opening, exciting, heart-warming, and soul-fulfilling. I cannot wait to continue my education in my specialty and help transform the lives of young women across the globe.

Why did I decide to also start this blog? Because people deserve free education and knowledge on coaching topics, and I am here to do my duty! Fun fact: I always loved to write about topics I am passionate about (I credit that to my father, an author, and the many journalism classes I took in college), but for some reason, I never prioritized writing time in my schedule. However, this year, I've decided that I want to put some of those journalism skills to use and write about stories from my personal life, tips and tricks relating to my coaching practice (breakups, anxieties, etc.), and honestly, whatever I feel like writing about. Expect to return to this blog frequently to soak up whatever knowledge or general blabber I have to share with you all. Exciting stuff!

Lastly, I wanted to thank some extraordinary people who supported me on this coaching journey.

To my absolute best friends, Paige Secosky and Lily Stewart, the first people I ever hit with the "I think I want to become a life coach" conversation, your support has been nothing less than motivating and heart-warming as I went through this coaching journey. I love you both incredibly!

Additionally, to all of my friends: Jeff Perrill, Dakota Walters, Seema Afsh, Jackson Halebian, Ryanne Rizzo, Hanna Williams, Eman Dalili, and so many more (you know who you are), I love and value the friendships I have formed with you through the years. Thank you so much for your love and support through this journey.

To my incredible boyfriend, Matthew Klahn: You have seen me at my highest highs and lowest lows these past few months. You have always kept me grounded when my anxiety got the best of me and uplifted me when I needed it. You have been supportive and gentle with me, and I thank you so much for that (god knows I need that). You are my rock. Give 'em hell!

To my parents, James Harris and Debbie Harris, and my brother, Jimmy Harris, your support has meant the absolute most to me of anyone. I remember sitting in a random taco shop with you on Long Island when I mentioned wanting to return to school for my life coaching certification. I was immediately met with support, love, and excitement. Thank you for always seeing the best in me and my future. I love you rockstars all so much!

Last but definitely not least, to my life coach, Andrea Gross, where do I begin? You have transformed my life in ways I can't even explain through a simple blog post. When I started working with you back in 2020, I was, transparently, a shell of a human being suffering from extreme anxiety and perfectionism issues. Through the years of working with you, your guidance, advice, accountability, and overall energy have pushed me to overcome my personal obstacles to live my most fulfilled, confident lifestyle. When I decided to become a life coach, your mentorship through my program meant the most to me, as I look up to you and your coaching journey immensely. I love you and couldn't have asked for a better coach. Thank you for everything; you've made my life lush.

I think this has been long enough, filled with mostly thank-yous, but I hope you, the reader, have enjoyed this little introduction and that you stick around to see my progress in this journey and enjoy what I have to share.
